Prepare the seasoning:
In a small bowl, mix sesame oil, soy sauce (if using), and honey or sugar. This creates a flavorful coating for the nori.Season the seaweed:
Place one sheet of nori on a clean surface. Lightly brush the mixture onto the shiny side of the nori sheet. Sprinkle a few sesame seeds evenly over the coated side.Layer and press (optional):
